After a 10-year hiatus, Sleater-Kinney, comprised of Brownstein, vocalist/guitarist Corin Tucker, and drummer Janet Weiss, have returned with their newest record. Produced by long-time collaborator John Goodmanson, who worked on the band's earlier albums, including their breakout 1997 album Dig Me Out, No Cities to Love is a formidable and melodic exploration of themes like greed, power, and powerlessness.
