Following the effusive reception to her sophomore solo album, Kim Gordon returns with 'The Collective (Deluxe). The new pressing arrives on very limited silver vinyl accompanied by a 7" featuring "ECRP," released on streaming services this summer, and the brand new single "Bangin' On The Freeway." 'The Collective' is sure to land on many "Best-of-2024" lists as Gordon receives positive reviews and recent features from The New Yorker, New York Times, Pitchfork (Best New Music), Stereogum, Washington Post, Vogue, Vulture, and more.

Kim Gordon, the legendary musician and multi-disciplinary artist, is all set to release her second solo album, The Collective, on March 8th under the Matador label. The album was recorded in her hometown, Los Angeles, and is a follow-up to her 2019 full-length debut, No Home Record. Producer Justin Raisen (known for working with Lil Yachty, John Cale, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Charli XCX, Yves Tumor) has collaborated with Gordon on this album too, along with additional production from Anthony Paul Lopez. The album is a testament to their collaborative efforts, with Raisen's dub and trap constructions complementing Gordon's intuitive word collages and hooky mantras, which evoke themes of communication, commercial sublimation, and sensory overload.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
