Kill Rock Stars proudly re-issues Roman Candle, Elliott Smith's first solo album, originally released in '94 by Portland's Cavity Search Records. Remastered by Roger Seibel (SAE) and Larry Crane, editor of Tape Op Mag and Elliott's family archivist, Roman Candle had a huge impact on Slim Moon, KRS's founder: "In '94, I was asked to be on the Pop Chord tour with Tammy, Carrie, Sean, and Elliott. At the Croc in Seattle, people talked through Elliott's set. But when Sean said "you missed something very special," I paid close attention at the Bottom Of The Hill the next night. After Elliott's set, I went to the van and started an endless replay of Roman Candle. It astounded me. Never before or after have I heard music so raw, personal, and wise."

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
