In 1999, John Balance and Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson of Coil broke free from the limitations of London and found solace in the peaceful coastal town of Weston-super-Mare. Using their expansive eight-bedroom estate as a sanctuary, they delved deep into their transcendent chemistry, giving rise to the ethereal masterpiece Musick To Play In The Dark. The creative flow was so intense that a second album was born during the making of the first, resulting in the captivating White & Black Smoke Color vinyl.
