Modern Lovers - Modern Lovers - Cool Blue Color Vinyl Record
This album, known as the eponymous debut by the American rock band the Modern Lovers, first graced our ears in 1976. Featuring six incredible tracks—"Roadrunner," "Astral Plane," "Old World," "Pablo Picasso," "She Cracked," and "Someone I Care About"—the album was crafted under the talented hands of producer John Cale.
The Modern Lovers came together in 1970, led by the passionate teenage singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jonathan Richman, along with the fantastic Jerry Harrison on keyboards (who later joined Talking Heads), Ernie Brooks on bass, and David Robinson on drums (who would also go on to be part of The Cars). They were occasionally joined by Richman's good friend and original band member, John Felice, adding to the band's dynamic.
This influential group left a lasting mark on countless aspiring punk rock musicians across the globe, including the legendary Sex Pistols, who famously covered "Roadrunner" in their project, The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle. Furthermore, the album earned a prestigious spot in Robert Dimery's 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, and in 2003, it made its way onto Rolling Stone magazine's esteemed list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
For vinyl enthusiasts, The Modern Lovers is available in a limited numbered edition of just 4000 copies, featuring a stunning "Cool Blue" color that is truly a collector's dream!

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
