Formed in Sheffield in 1977, The Human League is one of the most celebrated English synth-pop bands. Originally an experimental electronic group, they signed with Virgin Records in 1979 and achieved huge success with their third album, 'Dare,' in 1981. This album featured four hit singles, including the UK and US number one, 'Don't You Want Me.' Led by Oakey, the band has grown into a popular New Pop act, with members like female vocalists Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley. Since 1978, they’ve released nine studio albums, two remix albums, a live album, six EPs, 30 singles, and many compilations. With five albums and 15 Top 20 singles, they’ve sold over 20 million records worldwide by 2010. This special collection features their Virgin Records albums, all in vibrant colored vinyl chosen by the band, with tip-on sleeves, housed in a sturdy box with a poster. They recently wrapped up a sold-out UK tour where they played 'Dare' from start to finish.
