Stereolab is reissuing seven of their studio albums as 2LP editions. These editions use the same remasters as the 2019 expanded album versions, cut from the original 1/2" tapes by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering, with oversight from Tim Gane. However, they do not include any bonus material from the discontinued 3LP versions. The goal is to provide more cost-effective editions of these coveted titles to fans and retailers. Each record is packaged in a single 5mm printed sleeve with printed inner sleeves and comes with a protective PVC outer bag. Mars Audiac Quintet, originally released in 1994, is the third studio album by Stereolab.
