Faye Webster, the 21-year-old Atlanta native, subverts the expectations of country music by infusing it with a blend of alternative and R&B sounds, embodying "Atlanta Millionaires Club" in her own feelings. "Everything is way personal", Webster explains, "I have to write about very personal things for me to even want to write". Drawing on her familial connection to folk storytelling and her experience of the Atlanta hip-hop scene, she brings together introversion, heartache and an idiosyncratic sadness that can be seen through her sly sense of humor.
