Enthralled by their surroundings, Porridge Radio took shape in the seaside city of Brighton. Dana Margolin's passion for songwriting grew out of desolate open mic nights, where rooms of strangers watched her unleash her scream-singing into their faces. Margolin and the band (bassist Maddie Ryall, keyboardist Georgie Stott, and drummer Sam Yardley) forged Porridge Radio in pursuit of a deeper way to express themselves, with relationships, the sea and newfound friendships as their muse. Their unique indie-existentialist sound captured hearts with demos and live sets, leading to lauded airplay from the BBC, Radio X, and beyond. Now, the dynamic act is sharing their latest work, Every Bad, on Opaque Flame ORANGE Color Vinyl 2LP. Hear the passion come alive!
