Zola Jesus - Okovi - Clear & Black Splatter Color Vinyl
For over a decade, Nika Roza Danilova has been recording music under the name Zola Jesus. She has been with Sacred Bones Records for a majority of that time, and her latest album Okovi marks her return to the label. The record is comprised of 11 electronic-driven tracks that share similarities with her earlier work on Sacred Bones. The music on this album was created as a form of catharsis, resulting in heavier, darker, and more exploratory sonics. Longtime live bandmate Alex DeGroot, producer/musician WIFE, cellist/noise-maker Shannon Kennedy from Pedestrian Deposit, and percussionist Ted Byrnes all contributed to building the textural universe of these songs. Above all else, Zola Jesus has created a profound meditation on loss and reconciliation, standing tall alongside great works of its genre. Okovi speaks of tragedy with great wisdom and clarity, its songs exploring dark depths while also reflecting light.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
Hold up… what were we saying?
