Postpunk luminaries Joy Division thrillingly shook up Manchester's music scene in the '70s. Armed with energy and intensity, punks reworked rock with its most essential elements. Postpunks, on the other hand, worked with discord, flipped sonic foundations and introspective lyrics. Though their tenure was short, the poignancy and uniqueness of their music have earned them an undying place in rock n' roll's pantheon. 35 years ago, the band released Closer, their second and last studio album. Released poignantly just two months after frontman Ian Curtis' suicide, this post-punk classic has made its mark on music history. Produced by Martin Hannett who helmed their debut Unknown Pleasures, Joy Division compose ten magnetic songs brimming with Curtis' hopelessness. Noteworthy tracks include "Heart & Soul," "Isolation," "Eternal," "Decades" and the gripping "Twenty Four Hours".

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
