The album begins with six Fairport Convention hits, including the B-side "Throwaway Street Puzzle," the BBC recording "Mr. Lacey," the Liege and Lief outtake "The Ballad of Easy Rider," the Full House outtake "Poor Will and the Jolly Hangman," and the L.A. Troubadour performance of "Sweet Little Rock 'N' Roller." Thompson plays the guitar with zest on these tracks, while "Ballad of Easy Rider" bears more resemblance to Sandy Denny than Thompson.
