Cameron Picton, the bassist and sometimes frontman of black midi, along with his bandmates, crafted an energetic and imaginative world of music, blending storytelling with moments of exciting chaos. When they disbanded in 2023, Picton didn’t rush into making a solo album or joining another band. Instead, he took this moment of uncertainty—being neither fully solo artist nor bandleader—and stepped into the studio. From there, the idea of My New Band Believe quietly blossomed. The name feels like an open invitation, subtly suggesting that if listeners are willing to embrace the music without preconceptions, they’ll be rewarded for taking a daring leap into the unknown.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
