Seattle-based band Mudhoney takes on the absurdities of modern life with humor and muck-encrusted riffs on their 11th studio album, Plastic Eternity. The album was recorded in nine days at Crackle & Pop! in Seattle with producer Johnny Sangster. The songs tackle themes such as climate change, pollution, and human treatment, with a mix of genres from rock to punk. The album also includes a love song in the closing track "Little Dogs." Mudhoney, made up of Mark Arm, Steve Turner, Guy Maddison, and Dan Peters, have been making music together since the late 1980s and continue to do so because "we like each other and we like being in a band together."
