When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going, the second studio album by English new wave band Bow Wow Wow, was originally released in 1983. Produced by Mike Chapman, known for his work with Pat Benatar and Blondie, this album marks the last collaboration of all four original band members and the first where they were the sole writers. Guitarist Matthew Ashman encouraged vocalist Annabella Lwin to pen all the lyrics for the album. The lead single, "Do You Wanna Hold Me?", reached #47 in the UK and peaked at #3 on the Dutch charts. Aided by a music video in heavy rotation on MTV, the song also succeeded in the US.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on striking translucent pink-colored vinyl. This edition also includes an insert, making it a perfect addition to any fan's collection.
