It features five enchanting demos, lovingly mastered by Ed Brooks at Resonant Mastering on side C, along with a unique etching by Cory Murchy on side D. These early versions of four Menos el Oso tracks, plus “I’m Totally Not Down With Rob’s Alien” from the They Make Beer Commercials Like This EP, highlight just how razor-sharp and sonically satisfying Minus the Bear were, even while their songs were still being developed. These alternate takes not only serve as companion pieces to the album but also illuminate the creative journey of a band experiencing a sonic evolution, all while standing tall as solid tracks on their own. Beyond the expanded tracklist and the lovely side D etching, the vinyl version of Menos el Oso (Deluxe 20th Anniversary Edition) also showcases updated artwork in a stylish gatefold jacket with a matte gloss and spot UV varnish.
