Top 11 Vinyl Sold This Week July 11th, 2015

It’s that time again for our Top 11 Vinyl Sold This Week July 11, 2015!

 11. Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit This record keeps pumping out the hits and has moved in and out of the Top 11 many times.

10. Father John Misty – I Love You HoneybearHe has been at all the big music festivals and continues his tour through the summer making this record much talked about. If you already have it, buy it for someone else that may not know of our Father.

9. Sharon Van Etten – I Don’t Want to Let You DownIt’s a beautiful record that highlights Sharon’s voice, but the added strings and her piano on Just Like Blood are chilling.

8. Blur – Magic WhipWe have a great price on this, so maybe that made a difference, but this is a Blur, like you remember them, record. They have plenty of gas in the tank and hopefully we get another release from the boys in the years to come.

7. Unknown Mortal Orchestra – Multi-Love This comes on Pink vinyl which intensifies the synth-explosion this record creates. Parts of this feel, dare I say, like Prince! Indie-Pop-Dance heaven!

6. Mac Demarco – Another One (Pre-Sale) – This one is not out until August, but many of you have already jumped on securing your copy.

5. Sufjan StevensCarrie & Lowell – This record is sad and introspective, but its also emotionally cleansing and melodic. This will be on many best of lists at the end of the year.

4. Alabama Shakes – Sound and Color A strong follow-up to the Boys & Girls record with 3 hit singles already.

3. Desaparecidos – Payola – Conor Oberst and the guys follow-up 13 years after their last record with a great modern punk collection highlighted by the hit City on the Hill.

2. Jamie XX – In Color This hasn’t left the Top 11 since it came out and we suspect it will be here for a while.

1. Tame Impala – Currents  (Pre-Sale)Wow guys, you are buying a lot of this record before its release next week. Many songs are already being played and the Purple and Orange vinyl limited edition will be amazing.
