Top 11 Vinyl Records for Week Ending 7/4/2015

Posted by Christopher Carter on

Happy 4th of July to all you Americans that visit the Indie Vinyl Den. We have another interesting Top 11 this week as a few Pre-Orders make the list with the anticipation of their upcoming releases. Here is the Top 11:

  1. SUFJAN STEVENS -CARRIE & LOWELL- A surge this week pushed this back to the top, not to mention we have this on sale for $13.99. That is hard to pass up.
  2. FLORENCE + THE MACHINE- HOW BIG, HOW BLUE, HOW BEAUTIFUL- They filled a spot at last week's Glastonbury festival for the Foo Fighters. Stirred up quite a buzz!
  3. JAMIE XX- IN COLOUR [LIMITED EDITION TRIPLE COLOUR VINYL] - Great music on this solid record from Jamie XX and the color vinyl version seems to be the favorite of most!
  4. SHARON VAN ETTEN- I DON'T WANT TO LET YOU DOWN EP - Back from a long string of tours, Sharon Van Etten has to be taking some down time before a new record takes shape.
  5. UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA- MULTI-LOVE PINK VINYL - This record has moved up steadily and frankly is so filled with amazing hooks that it is an instant favorite.
  6. TAME IMPALA- CURRENTS COLOR VINYL RECORD PRE-ORDER - This is going to be a HUGE record. A few of the singles have been out and each one is a hit.
  7. MAC DEMARCO- ANOTHER ONE VINYL RECORD PRE-ORDER - Heck Salad Days is still selling and Mac already has a new record to release. This is highly anticipated.
  8. TORRES- SPRINTER VINYL RECORD - This will be on many end of year lists. A fantastic record from a phenomenal artist.
  9. HELIO SEQUENCE, THE - THE HELIO SEQUENCE [YELLOW VINYL] + BONUS CD LOSER EDITION - This record has been a consistent seller and the yellow vinyl is beautiful. We also have a cool bonus CD of extra cuts we are adding to each order.
  10. PURITY RING- ANOTHER ETERNITY [CLEAR VINYL LIMITED EDITION] - Great Indie Pop from Purity Ring and it's on Clear Vinyl.
  11. MUMFORD AND SONS- WILDER MIND VINYL RECORD - The boys hang tight in the Top 11 with another album of hits. Their sound has changed, but not in a bad way.
